Let your dog roam freely around the campsite with the Ruffwear Knot-A-Hitch dog tether system. The design was inspired by mountain climbing gear and the unique techniques of climbers. The Ruffwear Knot-A-Hitch contains a 7mm Kernmantle rope with crux clips that affix to each end of the rope to secure the daisy chain. Attach the rope between two trees or post to create a secure and safe perimeter for your dog to explore. This not only keeps them nearby in open spaces but can also keep them at a safe distance from your camping activities like a campfire or cooking equipment. The rope will remain tight with tension and relies on the auto lock system.
The center of the rope features a swivel carabiner that attaches to a standard 6ft dog leash, like the Ruffwear Front Range Leash. He can easily explore the area without becoming tangled or loose. The kernmantle rope boasts reflective material for added visibility at night. The Knot-A-Hitch comes with a built-in 300 denier ripstop polyester storage pouch that has a storm flap to protect everything from the elements. It is available in a 36 ft length. Washing Instructions
Hand wash the product with mild detergent and allow it to air dry.
How to Use
1) Unzip the zipper located on the back of the pouch
2) Pull out the daisy chain from the back of the pouch and loop it around a tree or post
3) Once wrapped around, use the crux clip attached to the kermantle rope to attach to the daisy chain
4) Pull out the Kermantle rope from the bag and lead it to the other post or tree
5) Once wrapped around, use the crux clip and attach it to the rope
6) Pull the rope back to the first tree or post, this will start to adjust and tighten the kermantle rope
7) Once you are back at the first tree finish tightening the rope and store any loose rope back into the pouch
8) Attach your dog's leash to the swivelling carabiner
