Ruffwear Powder Hound Jacket has been designed to be a versatile jacket, keeping your dog warm with synthetic insulation in colder weather, while allowing your dog a free range of movement to adventure. The insulation is now found both on the top of the coat and the underbelly area, helping retain heat. The sides of the coat are a nylon-spandex blend with a four-way tech stretch that won't constraint your dog's movement and keep the core muscles, underbelly and chest warm and protected from snow or snowballs forming on its fur. It also features articulated sleeves that seal in warmth and stretch and move with your dog comfortably.
The unique sleeved design with a zippered closure provides optimal heat retention. The shell is made with durable water repellent which sheds light moisture, the polyester lining provides insulation and warmth, and the four-way stretch sleeves ensure optimal movement and comfort is maintained.
Along the back trim of the jacket is a reflective material and located behind the neck is a spot to attach a light for additional visibility at night. The coat zipper is on the side, making this jacket easy to put on or remove. The Powder Hound jacket comes in a variety of sizes, three different colours and is suitable for a variety of dog breeds and everyday winter activities. How to Measure Your Dog
Neck: Measure the circumference of the base, leaving enough space to fit two fingers comfortably.
Lower Neck: Measure the circumference of the area above the shoulder blades towards the top of the chest, leaving enough space to fit two fingers comfortably.
Chest Girth: Measure the circumference of the widest part of the chest behind the front legs.
Length: Measure the length of your dog's back from the top of their shoulders to the base of their tail.
Height: Measure the distance from the floor to the top of your dog's shoulder blades. Your dog needs to be standing on all four legs.
Paw Width: Measure the widest part of the paw. You'll get a better measurement if your pup is standing.
Paw Length: Measure the distance between the "heel" and the longest toe nail. You'll get a better measurement if your pup is standing.
Muzzle Length: Measure the nose length from the tip to the crook where you want the muzzle to sit comfortably below the eyes.
Muzzle Width: Measure the muzzle's circumference at the widest part, leaving space for two fingers to ensure a comfortable fit.
Weight: Step on a scale while holding the dog, then subtract your weight from the total. A dog scale is conveniently located at all our locations.
