The inner layer is a durable polyester, a similar material used for luggage while the outer layer is a durable plastic coated polyester fibre sewn together to create a thick-skinned plushie. The toy is kept together using an industrial grade webbing stitched using a cross and linear stitching twice. Inside each end of the bone is a safety pocket that contains the squeaker just in case your dog gets to the centre of the bone.
