Feeding Guidelines
When Used as a Mixer or Topper:
Fill a 1/4 cup measuring cup and mix with the other food. Mixers can be fed dry, or rehydrated by adding 2 tablespoons of cool or warm water per 1/4 cup. To avoid overfeeding, reduce other food portions accordingly.

Meal mixers meet the requirements to be fed as a complete and balanced meal for all dogs. Can be served as is, or rehydrated by adding cool or warm water. If your dog prefers dry food, we suggest serving it as is but with plenty of fresh water available. If your dog does not regularly drink water at mealtime, we suggest rehydrating by adding 1/2 cup of water per 1 cup of food. Please note that the below table provides guidelines, and individual requirements may differ by +/- 50% depending on activity level, metabolism, age, health, and other factors.

Transitioning
To avoid digestive upset, over 7 - 10 days slowly mix new food in with the old diet. Gradually increase the amount of new food while decreasing the amount of old.
Puppies may need up to twice the amount of food as listed for an adult dog. For pregnant or lactating females, please consult with your veterinarian as requirements differ depending on the number of puppies and stage of lactation. Fresh water should always be provided.
