Made in Canada Horizon's Taiga Dog Food is a high-fibre, low-glycemic dog kibble that takes inspiration from the Taiga. The most significant contiguous evergreen forest that spans across North America, Northern Europe and Siberia, an area that is kept natural and a sanctuary for many wild animals.
Taiga Whole-Grain XL Pork Formula uses locally sourced pork as a primary protein with natural fruits and vegetables like carrots, blueberries and apples. Mixed with whole grains like barley, oats and rye to give the food its low glycemic, high in fibre formula. Additional probiotics, taurine, yucca schidigera, hydrolyzed yeast and other essential vitamins and minerals are in included to support your dog's skin, coat, joints, heart and overall health. This large breed formula also contains added glucosamine and chondroitin for additional joint care. The kibble is cooked using a low-temperature process to ensure little to no vitamins and minerals are lost, then coated with prebiotics and natural enzymes and cooked at a low temperature once more.
