This product will only magnetically adhere to metal surfaces and not aluminum or fibreglass. Most bumpers and some large SUVs and trucks have rear doors made of aluminum or fibreglass. For trucks, attach it on the inside of the tailgate for security as wind may blow it off the outside of the tailgate.
