Do you love adventuring with your furry friend all year round but live in an area with extreme winter conditions? The Hurtta Expedition Parka Canada is perfect for those colder adventures. This jacket was specifically designed with short-haired dogs or dogs without an undercoat in mind; however, it is suitable for all dogs.

Crafted with a breathable, water-resistant outer fabric and a soft inner lining designed to help your dog retain body heat and protect their core muscles while in the cold. The Hurtta Expedition Parka can withstand moderate to extreme Canadian winters.

Located along the backside are three adjustable points so this expedition park can fit your dog’s unique form and ensure a full range of motion for activities. The neck area uses an adjustable elastic cord around the neckline and collar. Inside the lower end of the dog parka is length adjustments and an adjustable strap for a snug fit and protection from wind and snow. Along the chest area of the jacket is an elastic waterproof area to stretch and adjust to your dog's movement, while the rear leg straps ensure the coat stays in place.

3M reflective material along the back and lower chest of the parka provide better visibility in low light. Available in a variety of sizes and four different colours; Please see the specifications tab for more information. How to Measure Your Dog

  1. Neck: Measure the circumference of the base, leaving enough space to fit two fingers comfortably.
  2. Lower Neck: Measure the circumference of the area above the shoulder blades towards the top of the chest, leaving enough space to fit two fingers comfortably.
  3. Chest Girth: Measure the circumference of the widest part of the chest behind the front legs.
  4. Length: Measure the length of your dog's back from the top of their shoulders to the base of their tail.
  5. Height: Measure the distance from the floor to the top of your dog's shoulder blades. Your dog needs to be standing on all four legs.

  8. Muzzle Length: Measure the nose length from the tip to the crook where you want the muzzle to sit comfortably below the eyes.
  9. Muzzle Width: Measure the muzzle's circumference at the widest part, leaving space for two fingers to ensure a comfortable fit.
  10. Weight: Step on a scale while holding the dog, then subtract your weight from the total. A dog scale is conveniently located at all our locations.
