Cranberries and blueberries are naturally dense in proanthocyanidins (P.A.C.'s) which prevents bacteria from sticking onto the walls of the bladder and urinary tract by forming a slippery barrier. This way, bacteria is unable to adhere to the lining and is washed away in the urine resulting in a healthy, normal urine flow.
