Horizon Pulsar Lamb Formula is a grain-free, moderate animal protein alternative that contains a unique combination of natural protein sources, including fresh lamb, lamb meal, and pulses.

Pulses are the edible seeds of legumes (i.e. peas and lentils), which are gluten-free and contain a large amount of digestible fibre. They are high in protein and antioxidants but low in fat and sodium. They are also low on the glycemic index, meaning they will not cause significant spikes or crashes in energy levels and will keep your dog feeling full even longer. Pulses aid digestion by allowing your dog's body to absorb the nutrients it needs while flushing all of the unnecessary toxins from the body with their high fibre content.

Many of the other human-grade ingredients such as broccoli, bok choy, blueberries, flaxseed, and carrots, contain antioxidants and essential fatty acids to provide optimal digestibility and boost the immune system. This food provides a balanced diet with many vitamins and minerals to keep your dog in optimal health. All of these benefits combined with the fact that many of Horizon's ingredients are sourced locally and don't contain GMOs, by-products, growth hormones, or chemical preservatives, make Horizon Pulsar a safe, natural option for dogs of all life stages.
