FirstMate's Grain Free Pacific Ocean Fish Large Breed Dog Food is a single-protein diet that contains only wild fish found within the herring family. Herring is an excellent source of omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids, which will work to improve the condition of your dog's skin and coat. The formula has been created specifically with large and giant breed dogs in mind. The protein and fat levels have been adjusted to ensure larger dogs receive the right amount of calories and the kibble is larger to keep dogs from eating too quickly.
The protein breakdown of this formula is 76% from wild Pacific Ocean fish and 24% from vegetables. It is a grain-free food, which makes it more easily digestible and great for dogs with food sensitivities and allergies. All FirstMate formulations are manufactured at their own plant located in Chilliwack, British Columbia.
