Natural Balance Fat Cats Low-Calorie Food was created for adult and senior cats that are less active or overweight. By maintaining a delicious, nutritionally-balanced diet yet removing some of the unnecessary calories, this food will help your cat reach and maintain an optimal weight. This dry formula contains an ideal blend of protein and fibre to promote smooth digestion and healthy weight loss. Protein contains fewer calories than fat, making it easier for your cat to maintain lean muscle mass and not put on extra weight. This, combined with the higher content of fibre, will also help your cat feel full longer and cut down on overeating and begging!
Fat Cats Low-Calorie Food has a lower number of calories than Natural Balance's Original Ultra Indoor Cat Food (it's actually one of the lowest-calorie cat food formulas available) but still has the delicious flavour that your cat will love.

Feeding Management
When transitioning your cat to a new food, it is recommended that you blend the current food with the new food for at least 10 days. If you are out of the current formula, you can reduce the amount of Fat Cats Formula you feed for the first few days and feed more frequent, smaller meals and gradually increase the amount. For weight loss and weight management, do not free feed.
Note: These feeding guidelines are only suggestions. Feeding amounts may vary by breed, activity level, temperament, and climate.
