The idea for Zuke's treats was sparked back in 1995, after the realization struck the founder, Patrick, that pets need healthy treats and snacks to refuel, just like us. He had been hiking with his chocolate lab, Zuke, and shared a bit of his energy bar with him to boost his endurance and keep him going.
