Ruffwear’s Hi & Light Harness is a lightweight, clean designed harness that is great for daily hikes or trail running. Made from 150 denier polyester ripstop with a 75D polyester heat embossed lining gives this harness the sturdiness it needs during hiking or trail running. The Debris resisted liner helps protect the harness from any dirt, fur or other environmental terrains for additional durability. Located around the harness are four points that allow you to customize the harness to your dog’s unique shape.

Located on the top of the harness and chest area is a V-ring to attach a leash and an ID pocket to store additional identification or a poop bag, reflective material is used along the trim with an area to connect Ruffwear’s The Beacon or Audible Beacon onto for extra safety at night.

The Hi & Light Harness is available in various sizes and three different colours; please see the specifications tab for more information.

How to Measure Your Dog

  1. Neck: Measure the circumference of the base, leaving enough space to fit two fingers comfortably.
  2. Lower Neck: Measure the circumference of the area above the shoulder blades towards the top of the chest, leaving enough space to fit two fingers comfortably.
  3. Chest Girth: Measure the circumference of the widest part of the chest behind the front legs.
  4. Length: Measure the length of your dog's back from the top of their shoulders to the base of their tail.
  5. Height: Measure the distance from the floor to the top of your dog's shoulder blades. Your dog needs to be standing on all four legs.
  6. Paw Width: Measure the widest part of the paw. You'll get a better measurement if your pup is standing.
  7. Paw Length: Measure the distance between the "heel" and the longest toe nail. You'll get a better measurement if your pup is standing.
  8. Muzzle Length: Measure the nose length from the tip to the crook where you want the muzzle to sit comfortably below the eyes.
  9. Muzzle Width: Measure the muzzle's circumference at the widest part, leaving space for two fingers to ensure a comfortable fit.
  10. Weight: Step on a scale while holding the dog, then subtract your weight from the total. A dog scale is conveniently located at all our locations.
