Oxbow Essentials Young Rabbit Food is a pellet diet, alfalfa-based and created specifically for the young or active rabbit.

Rabbits are strictly herbivores, so a diet that's high in fiber is essential for maintaining optimum rabbit health. Alfalfa hay provides a perfectly balanced protein source, containing the essential amino acids needed for your rabbit to grow and be healthy. Older rabbits with problems maintaining weight due to age or illness can also be fed Oxbow Young Rabbit Food, as can pregnant or nursing rabbits, when supplemented with free-choice grass hay. Young rabbits have unique nutrition needs compared to adult rabbits, which can all be fulfilled with Oxbow Essential Bunny Basics Young Rabbit Food.

When changing your rabbit's food, do it gradually to let the digestive system adapt to the switch. Some rabbits will resistant the change, so be patient and give them some time to adjust to the new food.
