Nutro Natural Choice Large Breed Puppy - Lamb & Rice is great for large breed puppies during this phase of rapid growth and development. The formula has been supplemented with glucosamine and chondroitin, which are crucial in the development of strong, healthy joints and cartilage in larger dogs. The high quality protein found in the delicious, New Zealand and Australian lamb aids in muscle development and in maintaining the metabolic rate that they need to compliment their energy level. Whole grains, such as brown rice and oatmeal, are included to help your puppy absorb all of the essential nutrients and to make the food easier to digest, which is great for dogs with sensitive stomachs!

Nutro Natural Choice does not use artificial flavours, colours, or preservatives, which makes it a safe, natural choice for your puppy. In addition, the Lamb & Rice Formula contains omega-3 fatty acids such as DHA to promote optimal development in your large puppy. To ensure quality nutrition, it does not contain corn-gluten, corn, wheat, or soy protein. Available in 30 lb. bag only.

Transitioning: Whenever you are switching to a different brand or formula, it is recommended to blend increasing amounts of this new formula with your old food for at least six days.

Puppies: From 3 to 5 weeks of age, moisten food and feed frequently. From 6 weeks of age, feed the suggested amount in three meals per day until 6 months of age, then twice daily until 12 months.

Pregnant Bitches:During pregnancy, offer 50% more than the amount shown for puppies 29 to 52 weeks of age.

Lactating Bitches:Offer at least two to three times the amount shown for puppies 29 to 52 weeks of age.

Keep fresh drinking water available at all times, provide plenty of exercise and see your veterinarian regularly. Serve dry or lightly moistened. To help maintain freshness, we recommend sealing the bag tightly and storing it in a cool, dry location.
