These feeding guidelines are designed for adult dogs, but just like people, every dog is different. Your pup’s needs might swing up or down by about 50%, so keep an eye on their condition and adjust as needed.

Use a standard 8-oz (240ml) cup to scoop the amount shown in the feeding chart. You can serve the food dry or mix in ¼ cup of cool or warm water per cup of food if your dog prefers it that way. Fresh water should always be within paw’s reach.

Got a puppy or a nursing mom? They’ll need more food, typically 2 to 3 times the adult amount. Because every situation is a little different, it’s best to check in with your vet.

Freeze-dried raw is rich and nutrient-dense, so it’s best to ease into it, especially if your pet’s been eating kibble or canned food: 

  • Days 1–2: Mix 10% freeze-dried raw with 90% of their current food. Rehydrate the freeze-dried portion with warm water to make it easier to digest. 

  • Days 3–4: Increase to 25% freeze-dried, 75% current food. 

  • Days 5–6: Go for a 50/50 split. 

  • Days 7–8: Shift to 75% freeze-dried, 25% current food. 

  • Days 9–10: Fully transition to 100% freeze-dried raw. 

If your pet has a particularly sensitive stomach, feel free to stretch this plan a little further. There’s no rush—just happy, healthy mealtimes ahead.

Keep the bag sealed until you're ready to dive in. Store it in a cool, dry place, and be sure to reseal it after each mealtime. To keep things safe and tidy, avoid mixing with other food and clean your hands and surfaces thoroughly after handling. If you're adding water, be sure to toss any uneaten portions after 30 minutes- freshness matters.
