Instagram Sweepstakes Terms & Conditions

1. Eligibility:

The Homes Alive Pets Instagram Sweepstakes ("Sweepstakes") is open to participants who are residents of Canada and at least 18 years old at the time of entry.
Employees of Homes Alive Pets, its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, and immediate family members (spouse, parents, siblings, and children) and/or those living in the same household are not eligible to participate.

2. Agreement to Rules:

By participating, the contestant agrees to be fully unconditionally bound by these Rules, and they represent and warrant that they meet the eligibility requirements set forth herein.

3. Sweepstakes Period:

The Sweepstakes begins on April 1st, 2024, and will continue every month until Homes Alive Pets terminates it. The sweepstakes period for each month will begin on the first day and end on the last day of that month. Homes Alive Pets reserves the right to terminate the sweepstakes at any time, without any prior notice to participants.

4. How to Enter:

To enter, participants must post a photo of their pet on Instagram and tag @homesalivepets.
Only one entry per person is allowed.

5. Prize:

The winner will receive a $100 Homes Alive Pets Gift Card valid in-store only.
The prize is non-transferable and cannot be substituted for cash.
Any and all prize-related expenses, including without limitation any and all federal, provincial, and/or local taxes, shall be the sole responsibility of the winner.

6. Winner Selection and Notification:

The winner will be selected by a random drawing conducted by Homes Alive Pets monthly.
The winner will be notified via Instagram direct message within 1 week of the winner's selection.
If the winner does not respond within 7 days of notification, another winner may be selected.
Homes Alive Pets shall have no liability for a winner's failure to receive notices due to spam, junk e-mail, or other security settings or for a winner’s provision of incorrect or otherwise non-functioning contact information.

7. Rights Granted by Contestant:

By entering this content, contestants authorize Homes Alive Pets to organically feature and share it on their social media platforms, ensuring proper tagging and attribution.

8. Terms & Conditions:

Homes Alive Pets reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend the Sweepstakes at any time without notice to participants.

9. Limitation of Liability:

By entering, contestants agree to release and hold harmless Homes Alive Pets and its subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising and promotion agencies, partners, representatives, agents, successors, assigns, employees, officers, and directors from any liability, illness, injury, death, loss, litigation, claim, or damage that may occur, directly or indirectly, whether caused by negligence or not, from: (i) such contestant's participation in the Sweepstakes and/or the contestants acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of any prize or any portion thereof; (ii) technical failures of any kind, including but not limited to the malfunction of any computer, cable, network, hardware, or software, or other mechanical equipment; (iii) the unavailability or inaccessibility of any transmissions, telephone, or Internet service; (iv) unauthorized human intervention in any part of the entry process or the Sweepstakes; (v) electronic or human error in the administration of the Sweepstakes or the processing of entries.

Information submitted with an entry is subject to the Privacy Policy stated on Homesalive.ca.

The Sweepstakes and these Rules are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Canada, and any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Canada.
