Your dog's paws are essential to protect while going on long hikes in the mountain, enduring the cold winter outings or a simple run in the mud adventure. Hurtta's Outback boots are designed to handle a variety of terrain and weather while keeping your dog comfortable. Hurrta's signature Houdtex Material is used for the outside of the boot, this lightweight, and durable material is flexible, breathable and weatherproof. Supporting the bottom of the boot is a non-slip, wave pattern sole that will nicely grip on the rough rocky terrain or those slippery sidewalks, giving your dog more confidence to take on the outside world. The part that dog owners can share and agree on is that dog boots are hard to put on. Hurtta has kept that in consideration and designed the boot with a slit side opening with a velcro wrap. Making this boot just a simple slip on, and wrap around. Preventing the dew claw from ever being a problem since the boot wraps around it rather than slipping over which can make the dew claw snag and cause discomfort

Inside of the boot is a soft polyester material that will keep the foot snug and warm, inside each boot is a designated Left and Right letter marking making the first couple of boot fitting less confusing. The 3M reflective material appears on the toe of the boot, outlining the side and top of the boot making your dog's presence known in the dark.

Outback boots come in sets of two. Please see the specifications tab for sizing.

Paw Sizing Information

To Measure Your Dog's Paws

Place dog's front paw, standing up with full weight on a blank piece of paper. Mark from the longest toenail and come straight back down from the back of the paw to make a second marking. Measure the distance between the two markings and refer to the sizing chart below.

Size Ankle Paw Width Arm Height Back
Small 6-7 cm (2 1/4" - 2 3/4") 3 cm (1 1/4") 5 cm (2")
Medium 7-9 cm (2 3/4" - 3 1/2") 5 cm (2") 5.5 cm (2")
Largre 8-10 cm (3 1/4"-4") 6 cm (2 1/4") 6 cm (2 1/4")
X-Large 10-12 cm (4" - 4 1/2") 6.5 cm (2 1/2") 7.5 cm (3")
XX-Large 10-14 cm (4"-5 1/2") 7.5 cm (3") 9 cm (3 1/2")

Sizing Tips

Choose size which fits dog's entire paw, including toe nails. A snug fit is best. Boots that are too large may slip off.
