Built for extreme temperatures, the Hurtta Extreme Warmer V2 keeps your dog warm and protected in harsh winter conditions. Its insulating wadding (120-140g/m²) and foil-lined interior work together to trap body heat, stimulating circulation and preventing heat loss. The extended coverage shields key muscle groups, the neck, abdomen, and rib cage, making it ideal for cold-sensitive dogs and winter adventurers in outdoor temperatures between -5º C and -30º C.

This updated version offers a softer, thicker wadding for improved insulation and comfort. The high tricot hood can be lifted to protect the ears and neck, while the adjustable back length, neckline, and chest strap provide a customizable fit. Snap buttons on the rear hem allow for easy adjustments, and hind leg straps ensure the coat stays securely in place. Designed with safety in mind, the Extreme Warmer V2 features 3M reflective piping and large reflective prints for increased visibility in low-light conditions. With an integrated harness in size 10 and a harness opening in larger sizes, this winter coat is both functional and protective—perfect for freezing temperatures and outdoor adventures.

How to Measure Your Dog

  1. Neck: Measure the circumference of the base, leaving enough space to fit two fingers comfortably.
  2. Lower Neck: Measure the circumference of the area above the shoulder blades towards the top of the chest, leaving enough space to fit two fingers comfortably.
  3. Chest Girth: Measure the circumference of the widest part of the chest behind the front legs.
  4. Length: Measure the length of your dog's back from the top of their shoulders to the base of their tail.
  5. Height: Measure the distance from the floor to the top of your dog's shoulder blades. Your dog needs to be standing on all four legs.
  6. Paw Width: Measure the widest part of the paw. You'll get a better measurement if your pup is standing.
  7. Paw Length: Measure the distance between the "heel" and the longest toe nail. You'll get a better measurement if your pup is standing.
  8. Muzzle Length: Measure the nose length from the tip to the crook where you want the muzzle to sit comfortably below the eyes.
  9. Muzzle Width: Measure the muzzle's circumference at the widest part, leaving space for two fingers to ensure a comfortable fit.
  10. Weight: Step on a scale while holding the dog, then subtract your weight from the total. A dog scale is conveniently located at all our locations.
