Homes Alive Pets Giveaways Terms & Conditions

1. Eligibility:

  • Homes Alive Pets giveaways (“Giveaways”) are open to legal residents of Canada who are at least 18 years of age at the time of entry.
  • Employees of Homes Alive Pets, its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, and immediate family members (spouse, parents, siblings, and children) and/or those living in the same household are not eligible to participate.

2. Agreement to Rules:

  • By participating, the contestant agrees to be fully unconditionally bound by these Rules, and they represent and warrant that they meet the eligibility requirements set forth herein.

3. Giveaway Period:

  • Each Giveaway will have its own start and end date, as specified in the official promotional materials for that specific campaign.
  • Homes Alive Pets reserves the right to cancel, modify, or terminate any Giveaway at any time without notice.

4. How to Enter:

  • Entry methods may vary by Giveaway and will be clearly outlined in the corresponding promotional materials.
  • Unless otherwise stated, only one entry per person per Giveaway is permitted.

5. Prize:

  • Prize details, including value and quantity, will vary by Giveaway and will be specified in the promotional materials.
  • Prizes are non-transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash unless otherwise stated.
  • Any and all prize-related expenses, including applicable taxes, are the sole responsibility of the winner.

6. Winner Selection and Notification:

  • Winners will be selected in a manner specified in the promotional materials (e.g., random draw or judged entry).
  • Winners will be notified via the method specified for the Giveaway (e.g., email, social media direct message).
  • If a winner does not respond within the timeframe provided in the notification, an alternate winner may be selected.
  • Homes Alive Pets is not responsible for notification failures due to spam filters, incorrect contact information, or technical issues.

7. Rights Granted by Contestant:

  • By entering, participants grant Homes Alive Pets the right to use submitted content (including photos, videos, or text entries) on its digital platforms, including social media, email, and website, with proper credit where applicable.

8. Terms & Conditions:

  • Homes Alive Pets reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify any Giveaway or these Terms & Conditions at its sole discretion, at any time and without prior notice.
  • It is the responsibility of participants to review these Terms & Conditions periodically for any changes. Continued participation in any Giveaway constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

9. Limitation of Liability:

  • By entering, participants agree to release and hold harmless Homes Alive Pets and its subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising and promotion agencies, partners, representatives, agents, successors, assigns, employees, officers, and directors from any liability, illness, injury, death, loss, litigation, claim, or damage that may occur, directly or indirectly, whether caused by negligence or not, from: (i) such contestant's participation in the fiveaway and/or the contestants acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of any prize or any portion thereof; (ii) technical failures of any kind, including but not limited to the malfunction of any computer, cable, network, hardware, or software, or other mechanical equipment; (iii) the unavailability or inaccessibility of any transmissions, telephone, or Internet service; (iv) unauthorized human intervention in any part of the entry process or the giveaway; (v) electronic or human error in the administration of the giveaway or the processing of entries.

10. Privacy Policy:

  • Information submitted with an entry is subject to the Privacy Policy stated on Homesalive.ca.

11. Sponsor:

  • All Giveaways are sponsored by Homes Alive Pets unless otherwise specified.

12. Governing Law:

  • All Giveaways are governed by the laws of Canada. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Canadian courts.
