Feeding Guidelines

Feed one can per 2 – 3 pounds of body weight. These feeding guidelines are averages and the needs of individual cats may vary. Please consult your veterinarian for the best feeding regimen for your cat.

Canned food is more moisture-rich and often more flavourful than kibble, so it can be a big shift for your pet’s digestive system. Here's a gentle 10-day plan to make the transition smooth and stress-free: 

  • Days 1–2: Increase to 25% canned, 75% current food. 
  • Days 3–4: Move to a 50/50 mix. 
  • Days 5–6: Shift to 75% canned, 25% current food. 
  • Days 7+: Full switch to 100% canned food. 

Take it slow if needed—there’s no harm in stretching this timeline out further, especially for pets with sensitive stomachs or picky appetites.
