These feeding guidelines are designed for adult dogs, but just like people, every dog is different. Your pup’s needs might swing up or down by about 50%, so keep an eye on their condition and adjust as needed.
Use a standard 8-oz (240ml) cup to scoop the amount shown in the feeding chart. You can serve the food dry or mix in ¼ cup of cool or warm water per cup of food if your dog prefers it that way. Fresh water should always be within paw’s reach.
Got a puppy or a nursing mom? They’ll need more food, typically 2 to 3 times the adult amount. Because every situation is a little different, it’s best to check in with your vet.
Freeze-dried raw is rich and nutrient-dense, so it’s best to ease into it, especially if your pet’s been eating kibble or canned food:
Days 1–2: Mix 10% freeze-dried raw with 90% of their current food. Rehydrate the freeze-dried portion with warm water to make it easier to digest.
Days 3–4: Increase to 25% freeze-dried, 75% current food.
Days 5–6: Go for a 50/50 split.
Days 7–8: Shift to 75% freeze-dried, 25% current food.
