Protect your dog’s paws during adventures in extreme conditions or terrain with the Hurtta Outback Boots. These lightweight boots are easy to put on with the side slit opening and Velcro wrap to ensure a secure fit. The side slit is convenient and more comfortable for dogs that have a dew claw. Weatherproof Hountex material is used to provide a durable, breathable, and weatherproof boot. The inner lining is made of a soft polyester material that provides a warm and snug foot. Supporting the bottom of the boot is a non-slip, wave pattern sole that will nicely grip on the rough rocky terrain or those slippery sidewalks. For convenience each boot is marked for the designated paw (left vs right). 3M reflective material appears on the toe of the boot, outlining the side and top of the boot for improved nighttime safety.

Outback boots come in sets of two. Please see the specifications tab for sizing.

Paw Sizing Information

To Measure Your Dog's Paws

Place dog's front paw, standing up with full weight on a blank piece of paper. Mark from the longest toenail and come straight back down from the back of the paw to make a second marking. Measure the distance between the two markings and refer to the sizing chart below.

Size Ankle Paw Width Arm Height Back
Small 6-7 cm (2 1/4" - 2 3/4") 3 cm (1 1/4") 5 cm (2")
Medium 7-9 cm (2 3/4" - 3 1/2") 5 cm (2") 5.5 cm (2")
Largre 8-10 cm (3 1/4"-4") 6 cm (2 1/4") 6 cm (2 1/4")
X-Large 10-12 cm (4" - 4 1/2") 6.5 cm (2 1/2") 7.5 cm (3")
XX-Large 10-14 cm (4"-5 1/2") 7.5 cm (3") 9 cm (3 1/2")

Sizing Tips

Choose size which fits dog's entire paw, including toe nails. A snug fit is best. Boots that are too large may slip off.
