Tailspring Kitten Milk Replacer Powder is a powdered milk replacement that is great for kittens, weak kittens, sensitive stomachs or as a food enchanter for adult cat breeds. Made with 100% human-grade dried whole goat milk with dried goat milk protein, safflower oil, and essential vitamins and minerals to aid in growing and developing kittens. This powder is easy to prepare; simply add the powder and warm water together and mix.
Tailspring Milk Replacers are made with no preservatives, artificial flavours or colours. Please see the specifications tab for feeding guidelines and more information. Available in a 340 g (12 oz) bag that makes approx 336 teaspoons or 56 fl oz.
For Regular Kittens: Add one part of powder to two parts of warm water (part maybe a level tsp, level tsp or level cup)
For weak kittens or sensitive stomachs: Add one level part powder to three parts of warm water and gradually decrease to two parts of water over several days (part maybe a level tsp, level tsp or level cup). Mix powder and water using either a blender on pulse setting or a glass jar with a tight lid and shake vigorously.
Refrigerate any portions of the mixed formula for up to 48 hours.
Feeding Kittens: Warm up the premixed formula to the body temperature as needed for every feeding. Offer one tsp for every four ounces of body weight for three to four hours.
As kittens grow, slowly increase the amount fed daily per body weight while decreasing feeding sessions until your average two to three feeding per day. Continue to feed the milk replacer until the puppy is entirely onto solid food.
Unopened bags, please store in a cool, dry place. Once the package has been opened, please refrigerate. Product in the refrigerator can be stored for up to three months to keep it fresh.
