The harness is not intended to be used as a tie-out, always supervise your cat when he is wearing the harness.

When using the harness for the first time, always make the time a pleasant experience if your cat's reaction is escalating end the session and remove the harness. You want to ensure the next session will not be more difficult. If your cat is sensitive to touch, being handling or anxious to new things, it is recommended using treats, food, brushing, petting or brushing to make the fitting a positive experience.

Always choose a quiet room while fitting, never yell, scold or force as this will make it a negative experience for your cat. When the harness is put on, praise your cat, offer treats and allow your cat to experience it for a short time then remove the harness.
